In addition to insurance coverage, members also have access to a wide range of leadership and risk management training including workshops, courses, seminars, and online training to help them manage risk and reduce losses.
Liability Workshops – Each year the Fund provides four liability workshops to help members reduce their risks.
Safety Seminars – Each year the Fund conducts a regional safety training seminar for Fund members which is held throughout the state. These one-day seminars focus on current safety issues and provide guidance for managing community center safety programs. Presenters discuss specific problems being encountered by Fund members and offer practical solutions to help reduce accidents and resulting losses. The Fund’s loss control consultants and safety professionals conduct these seminars often from experiences identified through their Risk Control Consultations.
Leadership Training – To support the growth of skilled employees, motivated supervisors and managers, the Fund provides leadership training for center staff at their locations. The robust leadership training courses are geared from the frontline employee to the senior executive team. View the complete listing of courses.
Online Training – To support and supplement other training provided, the Fund offers safety training programs which members’ employees can access from a personal computer. Topics include general safety training courses, driver training, and human resource courses. Users can track their own progress through these highly interactive courses as well as print certificates of completion once they have passed a simple test.
