Leadership Training

Recognizing the correlation between good supervision and reduced claims and losses, the Fund partners with members to provide training to assist in mitigating and preventing losses. Since 1993, the program has supported the growth of skilled, motivated supervisors and managers in a center’s safety and quality culture.

Our goal is to bring new ideas, insights, and education on the latest trends and developments in areas relevant to effective supervision and management. The courses provide effective tools that apply to everyday workplace situations. Beginning with a two-day core leadership course.

In addition to the core leadership course, other topics include:

  • Interviewing & Selection: Hiring the Best FIT
  • Coaching for Accountability: Develop the Employee’s Potential
  • Performance Management & Appraisal: Retain the Employee
  • Communicating Effectively: Say It So They Get It
  • Situational Leadership: Engage the Person
  • Ethics for Managers: Effective Leadership
  • Managing Difficult People
  • Managing Different Generations
  • Managing Change
  • Managing Stress in the Workplace
  • Effective Delegation
  • Executive Sessions for Executive Teams and Boards

These are just a few examples and more courses are developed as members’ needs change.
