This webinar is the fourth in a series of four webinars.

How to Respond to the OIG when they come calling about a compliance issue at your Center.

During the month of September and into October, the Risk Managers Advisory Committee will present a series of webinars designed to help new compliance officers understand the key role of Compliance in the day-to-day life of the Community Center.  With retirements and turnover there are now many people new to the role of compliance management and this series of webinars will help acquaint them with the basics.

With the expertise of the speakers, the series will be a good refresher for anyone at the Center in any compliance-related role. The series will be composed of four webinars addressing the major functions and operations of compliance:

  1. The Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan including purpose and required elements.
  2. Operationalizing the Plan, practical suggestions on bringing it to scale for your center’s size, how to make the plan work for everyone at the Center and become an educational resource for staff.
  3. How to conduct an effective, internal investigation that stays focused.
  4. How to respond to the OIG when they come calling about a compliance issue at your Center.

Speakers will include Catherine Greaves, Attorney at King-Spalding, Donna Moore, Compliance Specialist at Burke and Jennifer Hussey, Compliance Director at The Center for Health Care Services.  Pam Beach will moderate.

Each webinar will allow time for questions and be recorded for future access.  Any power points or handouts may be downloaded during the webinar or available on request afterwards.
