Within the liability program, the Fund offers automobile liability (AL), general liability (GL), professional liability (PL), and public officials errors & omissions liability (E&O).  The Fund's liability coverages have been custom tailored to meet the risk financing needs arising out of exposures commonly faced by the community MHMR centers in Texas.

The Fund continues to modify and evolve these coverages based upon the evolving needs of centers and new developments in the marketplace.  Some examples of this include excess coverage for employees transporting clients in personal vehicles, coverage for volunteers and practicum students, and employment practices coverage.

The Fund offers limit options up to $5 million for all lines. Standard deductibles range from $1,000 to $50,000.  AL and GL coverage is provided on an "occurrence" basis. PL and E&O coverage is provided on a "claims-made" basis. Defense costs are in addition to the limit of liability for AL, GL, and PL. Defense costs are included in the limit of liability for E&O.
